The National Safety Council is the leader in workplace First Aid and CPR Training. The new 9th edition course has just been released and includes the new IL-COR guidelines, information that exceeds OSHA recommendations, examples that are workplace focused and has a fresh look and experience for learners.
The course will cover hazards in the workplace and how to respond to those emergencies. Knowledge and skills will be presented on how to recognize a medical emergency, how to apply First Aid techniques, prevent disease transmission, how to care for bleeding or sudden illnesses and perform breathing/CPR steps in order to minimize impact until emergency response arrives.
After passing the skills test, leaners will receive a nationally recognized NSC Standard First Aid and Adult CPR/AED certification valid for two years.
