From Compliance to Living Systems: Immersive Practice for Safety Readiness in High-Risk Operations
Many high‑risk organizations – from transportation and logistics to energy, manufacturing and critical infrastructure, as well as passenger rail, humanitarian response and airlines – still equate “training done” with “risk reduced,” even as serious incidents occur in operations staffed by experienced, well‑trained people. Safety leaders also face loss of institutional knowledge, rising complexity and the need for consistent decisions across multi-site workforces. This session will show how organizations close this gap by shifting from training for compliance to training for competence, building realistic practice into programs and wiring what they learn into day‑to‑day operations. You’ll learn how procedures and standards become 3D visuals, scenario libraries and immersive simulations that make hazard and defect recognition faster, more intuitive and consistent; and leave with practical tools and checklists to upgrade your own program.
